1800 Watermelon Tequila Drink Ingredients
All you need to make this Tequila Watermelon cocktail.
- 1800 Ultimate Margarita Mix
- Margarita Rimming Salt
- Ice
Start whipping up your 1800 tequila margarita cocktail by wetting the rim of the margarita glass, then dipping into a saucer of the margarita salt.
We’ve had these blue-rimmed Margarita glasses for a long time, but you can find really similar ones here online.
We rimmed each glass in lime juice (just run a cut lime around the rim) to wet it, then dipped the rim into a saucer of margarita salt.
Set the glasses aside until the watermelon margarita is ready.
Add ice to the blender.
Fill the blender with ice. We made two tequila cocktails and used roughly 5 cups of ice.
Add the 1800 Tequila.
Next, we poured the measured amount of Ultimate Margarita Watermelon mix. Blend it together really well, so the ice breaks down, creating a slushie.
Looks tasty, doesn’t it?
Pour into the rimmed glasses and enjoy. Garnish with a watermelon slice if you like!
FAQ’s
The convenience:
- By far, the easiest and quickest way we’ve found to make a margarita, especially if space and convenience is at a premium. We enjoy these drinks at happy hour on the boat and camping. Just grabbing a ready to mix bottle is much easier than also having to tote the bottle of tequila and the mixer.
- Plastic container – much more practical than a glass bottle for this margarita mix. Lightweight, won’t break = better for those beach afternoon cocktails and for sipping around the pool.
The 1800 Ultimate Margarita price point:
This margarita mix is at a great price point. The 1800 Ultimate Watermelon Margarita Mix cost us $16.98 for a 1.75l bottle.
All the other varieties (see them below) were also at that price.
Alcohol content
The pre mixed has an alcohol content of 9.95%, which is much less than a classic margarita, where the alcohol content is around 25%. That makes this a great option for a lighter margarita.
